Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) April 2017
On April 18 2017, the Australian Government announced a new occupation list for skilled visa applicants. This list is known as “Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)” and replaces the old Skilled Occupation List (SOL). Applicants who are applying for the following visas, must nominate an occupation from this list:
- Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485).
- Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189).
- Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489) (not applicable to State or Territory Government nominated applicants).
